Congratulations and BRAVO to the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and String Orchestra for receiving the highest ratings and awards possible (The Unanimous Superior Award) at the CMEA Bay Section Band & Orchestra Festival held during the weekend of April 29th & 30th at San Ramon Valley High School. With the Jazz Ensemble receiving the same recognition earlier in the semester, all of the Acalanes instrumental ensembles received an unprecedented FIVE awards in musical performance & sight-reading this past school year. This is a tribute to the wonderful students, the nurturing and generous community, and the terrific support of the school and district administration. BRAVO TO ALL!
